Access to the best training resources

Bloom (1985) highlights the importance of having early access to the best training resources available. This includes the best teachers and equipment (for example: a well maintained piano) for all learners as soon as they begin piano lessons. Too many bad habits could develop in a beginner and may go unnoticed by an ill-informed teacher.
