Piano Lessons

I am a University Conservatorium Masters level Graduate with 20 years experience in teaching all levels and styles of music.

Being a full-time music educator, I have a thorough and practical understanding of the pedagogy involved in teaching music. I am able to provide students with the knowledge and ability to break down the learning process and explain each step thoroughly. These processes are applied to the repertoire studied and are important steps when learning any instrument and are a part of a well-rounded music education that I offer.

The type of music you can learn is your choice. Not everyone wants to do exams. Some students just like to learn for the pleasure that music brings and the satisfaction of learning an instrument.

I welcome all ages to learn to play the piano and offer and individually tailored music tuition to suit all learners.

I can prepare students for the Australian Music Examinations Board practical and theory exams.

"Classical" - from Preliminary to 8th grade and beyond.
"Piano for Leisure" - Choose from Classical, modern, jazz, film scores.

Apart from teaching piano I am also a University trained Music Technology specialist and offer a range of services in this area.

I also offer the opportunity for students to record their performances with high quality digital recording facilities. Students can produce a Studio quality recording and full colour printed CD . These make a great gift for family and friends as well as offer an excellent way to prepare pieces to performance standard.
